Aaron Carter Claims Michael Jackson Used To Give Him Coke & Alcohol

Everywhere you look people are trying it today:

With the second anniversary of Michael Jackson’s death only just past, one of his former ‘friends’ has decided to spill some very serious beans.

In an interview with OK magazine, Aaron Carter revealed that the King of Pop gave him alcohol and drugs when he was just 15 years old. “I never talked about it . . . This is the first time,” Carter told the mag. “I miss Michael . . . I have spent such incredible times with him. I did things with him that nobody else did . . . But I was also troubled about what he did to me.” Asked whether Jacko ever gave him alcohol, Aaron confessed: “Yes, he gave me wine. I mean, I could have refused, but I was 15.”
And that’s not all. He added: “He gave me cocaine. I felt weird about that and other stuff. We spoke afterwards, hours and hours, on the phone.

“I admired Michael, but his behaviour bothered me a lot. Then my mother called the police…”

Wu-Tang Clan Working On A New Album

Though it's still early days for the recently 'rebirthed' Wu-Tang Clan, founding member Raekwon the Chef has revealed that the group has begun work on their sixth studio album (and first since 2007's '8 Diagrams').

"It's kind of early to announce a new album right now," he tells Spinner. "We've been working on some things, though."

Pressed for details, the rapper, whose production disagreements with producer and fellow Clan member RZA over the divergence from the 'classic' Wu-Tang sound on the collective's last release led to Raekwon's RZA-less album 'Shaolin vs. Wu-Tang,' was quick to add, "As far as Wu-Tang goes, it's something that we really got to get together first for."

The insinuation backs up the speculation that, despite recent touring, all is still not fully healed in the camp.

To add further fuel to the fire, Raekwon, whose working on his own tell-all autobiography, admits he was frustrated at the accuracy and promotion of last year's group-approved behind-the-scenes documentary, 'Wu-Tang Saga.'

"It gets a little weary because everything don't be really so much facts [sic]," he sighs. "But that be the other guy's opinions on how they want to promote it. I'm used to it. My life ain't a movie, so I just got to let it run out."

Mary J. Blige Taps Fabolous, DJ Premier & More For "My Life II: The Journey Continues"

Mary J. Blige plans on taking it back to the essence with her upcoming album My Life II: The Journey Continues, due October 4th. The Queen of Hip Hop Soul, who released My Life in 1994, has enlisted production and writing from Alicia Keys, Swizz Beatz, Bangladesh and DJ Premier, while the sole guest artist so far is Fabolous.

Speaking with The Boombox, MJB explained that the album will explore how she overcame obstacles throughout her career and personal life. “I would say I've learned that trials and tribulations will continue to stand but the beauty is I know how to deal with navigating [through] them now," she said. "As long as you're living, you're going to have [to deal with] life.”

The 40-year-old songstress most recently released Stronger with Each Tear in December 2009, bowing at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 with sales of 332,000 copies in its first week.

Lupe Fiasco Praises Lil B

So Lil B is from The Bay and he’s a youth hahaha we can stop right here! He already good in my book. But what gets Lil B admission into my coveted genre of “Liberation Rock” is his absolute lack of fear when it comes to challenging the status quo. Whether it be in hip-hop, which is very elitist and caste and class oriented, or just society in general, which is very elitist and class centric. His albeit “rocky” road musically has been honestly at times unbearable to walk on. Some of Lil B’s past works have been underwhelming to say the least and at moments I would seriously consider heading out for smoother pavement. But every now and again an absolute jewel would come to the surface and I’d find myself unable to fathom leaving this kids side for any reason. The vulgar lyrics, happy go lucky cooking dances and sometimes pointless stream of conscious style rambling started to give way to hints of a deadly serious revolutionary mentality lurking underneath. Now I’m not talking Dead Prez or Immortal Technique level stuff here but something just as powerful and meaningful. What I was witnessing was a man in the process of profound self-realization and self-awareness. And seeing that this road has led to the promised land in the form of “I’m Gay (I’m Happy)” has been for me just as fulfilling as the new understandings that I’m sure Lil Bars has come upon if the content of his new album is anything to go by.

Pentagon fails to probe thousands of sexual assaults: GAO

The Pentagon has failed to act properly to investigate the 2,594 sexual assaults reported in 2010, a Government Accountability Office accused in a new report. The Department of Defense Inspector General’s office is supposed to oversee all sexual assault investigations within the military, but none of the nearly 2,600 cases were passed through that office this year, the GAO said. The DOD was told to develop a policy for handling and investigating sexual assault cases in 2006, but has done none of this in the five years since.
“The Inspector General’s Office has not performed these responsibilities, primarily because it believes it has other, higher priorities,” the report read.
The Defense Department has also received extra money to implement and improve sexual assault policies and has not used it. For example, the Army was given $4.4 million specifically to redesign sexual assault policies and programs in the 2009 fiscal year, and failed to do so.

"'I Met Tragedy back in 2001 at justo's mixtape awards.. We reconnected again 2004 an started making a bunch of records together.. Just mashing out. One record in particular was a track called "The game" which was my favorite track we did together. I left with the unfinished version with just me an trag on it an by the next year i hear the same record with havoc an star blaze on it. Coincidentally i ran into trag in the port authority in manhattan Nyc an we sat down an chopped it up an i told him i was a little tight that i was taken off the record. Trag looked me in the eye an told me that i never finished the verse an because my number changed at the time he wasn't able to get in contact wit me to get me back in the lab to finish it.. So right in front of me trag called Hav an they spoke on remixing it an puttin me back on it.. Hav was cool with it cuz i knew his man "Littles". So The green light was given an History was recorded.. We released this record as a white label in the U.k. in 08 but never in the states... So enjoy it "THE MEMO" Drops june 30th.. be sure to support me like u always do.."
